Building relationships with a focus on fun and fitness

Kinetic Canine KC is owned and operated by Hannah Burnett, a native of the Kansas City area and a long time animal lover.

Hannah’s avid interest in animal behavior and husbandry began early in life on her family’s multi-generational family farm. A childhood around various species, including showing dairy cattle, horses and dogs in 4-H, launched a lifetime pursuit of knowledge and understanding. Her first job at a boarding and grooming kennel placed her on the path of learning about canine behavior and training. Weekends spent showing Beaucerons and other dog breeds at confirmation events inspired a deep love of the breed and interest in dog sports. After completing an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology, Hannah spent the next several years working in small animal clinics as a Veterinary Technician, gaining valuable experience in the health and husbandry of canines and other companion animals. During this time, Hannah also completed a Bachelors degree in Animal Science at Colorado State University. Taking her own Beauceron (Grimm) hiking on the weekends, and occasionally attending confirmation events, kept her involved in the dog world and taught her much about functional training. Following a move back to Missouri, Hannah stepped away from the veterinary medical field, and pursued employment as a professional dog trainer. Five years and countless dogs later, Hannah is now an experienced trainer and American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She is also currently working on completing a Canine Strength and Conditioning Coach certification program from North Carolina State University. Hannah shares her house with two Beaucerons, Grimm and Rajah, who definitely keep life interesting.
